We are excited to announce that club friend and sponsor Alex Stanford is opening Jacksonville’s first bonsai nursery this month on April 20th in Mandarin with special discounts for club members. Florida Bonsai is a generational nursery founded on the experience of Alex and his mom Sue’s history in horticulture and landscape design after discovering a passion for bonsai. Alex also owns local landscape design company Sunway Landscape Services, you may have seen their trucks around Jacksonville and St. Johns.
Florida Bonsai is launching with a growing selection of bonsai and pre-bonsai trees, soils and pots, with plans to have most everything that is bonsai related available.
